Fake currency seized, two held

Two persons were arrested and fake currency notes having the face value of Rs 1.25 lakh were seized from their possession in Aligarh district today, police said.
Acting on a tip off, officials of ATS and SOG, Aligarh nabbed Prakash and Chandrapal from railway overbridge on Baraula bypass road and seized the counterfeit notes in the denomination of Rs 500 from them, they said.
Further probes are on into the case, they added.
