The arrested have been identified as Jitender, the mastermind of the racket, his wife Roopa and one Reshma.
During interrogation, the trio told police that they have cheated large number of people in Delhi and NCR.
At their instance, five mobile phones, six SIM cards and documents related to the placement agency were recovered, police said.
The accused were arrested following a complaint lodged by one doctor, Renu Misurya, a resident of Hauz Khas in south Delhi.
"On July 21, Jitender reached her residence with two girls named Roopa and Reshma. He took an advance of Rs 10,000 from the complainant, out of a total sum of Rs 20,000 as per terms and conditions," a police official said.
"After fulfilling the requisite documents, Jitender and Roopa went out, leaving Reshma at her house. At about 9:00 pm, when Renu was cooking food, Reshma told her that she was not feeling well and went out of the house. After some time, when the complainant looked for her, she found that the maid had run away. She tried to contact the placement agency over phone but it was switched off," he said.
