The fake currencies were in the denomination of Rs 50 and Rs 100, a senior police officer said.
The seizure was made after one of the members of the household of the main accused gave a Rs 50 note to a fast food vendor and he found it to be fake last night.
The hawker and his friends then informed the police and following the raid the fake currencies and a high-tech scanner was found, the officer said.
