"The numbers of Hindus are constantly falling. It's a matter of grave concern. Our saints have often warned about the fall in their number and the rise in the numbers of Muslims. We must think about a solution to this issue," he told a press conference.
He said a solution was needed to address the issue.
"Even the Supreme Court has spoken about uniform civil code. It's about showing courage. Can they (government) show courage and implement it?" he said.
VHP's international president Pravin Togadia besides Aditynath have sought curbs against Muslims following the census report which showed that the share of Hindus had fallen below 80 per cent of the total population.
