Yadav, who was signed by the Kolkata Knight Riders for IPL 7 last week, yesterday etched his name in history by becoming the first Indian to grab a hat-trick in ICC U-19 World Cup.
More good news followed as Kuldeep was also selected in UP's squad for the domestic one-dayers and his family said they were proud of his achievement.
"We have received hat-trick of good news. Firstly, Kuldeep was bought by Kolkata for IPL. Then came the hat-trick against Scotland yesterday followed by his selection into State side for Vijay Hazare Trophy in the evening," said Yadav's father, Ram Singh.
Kuldeep bagged four for 28 against Scotland in Dubai to lift his side to the quarterfinals of the ongoing World Cup.

Kuldeep's coach Shashikant Khandekar said the chinaman bowler stand a chance to be part of the first XI for the Knight Riders after his recent performances.
"Two years back he was with Mumbai Indians but could not get a game. This time we are very hopeful that he will get a chance to play for KKR," said Khandekar.
"He has led UP to successive U-19 domestic title in the last two years. He is doing very well," he said.
