The parents of a 21-year-old found dead in Demi Moore's swimming pool 18 months ago have filed suit against the host of the party, at which the tragedy occurred.
Jorge and Maria Valle, who son Edenilson Steven Valle drowned at the bash, have also named Betty Wong, the trustee that owns the property in their legal papers. Moore is not named in the complaint, reported New York Daily News.
They are seeking unspecified damages for wrongful death and negligence.
The Valles claim party host Larry Hernandez, Moore's assistant, failed to alert guests to the "abundant dangerous conditions at the premises", including the depth of the pool.
Moore, who was not at home at the time, released a statement shortly after news of the death broke.
"The loss of a child is an unthinkable tragedy and my heart goes out to this young man's family and friends," she wrote.
Valle's friends and family have confirmed he did not know how to swim.
