The 52-years-old actress, who played the telepathic- telekinetic mutant in the "X-Men" film franchise, said it was a role that has been an ever-giving gift, reported DigitalSpy.
"Jean Grey is a part of me. I would definitely come back to play her whenever they ask me. It's the gift that keeps on, kept on giving. I think we're done, but it was really great while it lasted and it lasted for a long time," Janssen said on the sidelines of Denver Comic Con.
Janssen featured in three films from the franchise - "X- Men", "X2" and "X-Men: The Last Stand". Her character gets killed off in the third film. She also did cameos in "The Wolverine" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past".
Currently, actress Sophie Turner will be starring as Jean Grey in "Dark Phoenix", the fourth in the "next generation" series following "First Class", "Days of Future Past" and "Apocalypse".
