'Faridabad Metro extension expected to be completed by 2017'

The extension of Badarpur-Escorts Mujesar metro route upto Ballabgarh in Faridabad district is expected to become operational by the end of 2017, DMRC official said today.
According to DMRC spokesperson Himanshu Sharma, the extension of the line to Ballabgarh would be taking time to reach Ballabgarh. It is expected that the extension of Badarpur-Escorts Mujesar line upto Ballabgarh would become operational by the end of 2017.
The dates of inspection by the Safety Commissioner are finalised from 10th to 12th August. Different teams of DMRC are working in full swing on the areas like Electric wires, Communication system, Track safety, etc, he said

In order to ensure that nothing goes wrong at the last moment, the stations on Faridabad lines are also being operated like a running station, he added.
