The delegation, in its 14-point charter of demands, asked the chief minister to declare Rs 390 as minimum support price of sugarcane, loan waiver of drought hit farmers, revocation of cases against the farmers among others.
The chief minister, on the occasion, announced that the state government had already decided to withdraw cases lodged against the farmers in the previous regime.
Yadav said that the the government would be constituting farmers commission soon as declared in the party manifesto during elections and assured farmers that their demands would be taken care of by the government seriously.
