Pawan, the victim, had sold his land to accused Bunty out of which Rs 2 lakh was still due, SSP Gulab Singh said.

He went to Bunty's house to recover the money when a heated argument took place between them and he was burnt alive.

Pawan's father Ratiram has lodged an FIR with the police, Singh said, adding that the search is on for Bunty and some of his accomplices involved in the crime.
