Several farmers today staged a protest at the GNIDA's office here to press for their demand for payment of additional compensation.
The demonstration at the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) office was led farmers' leader Manvir Bhati.
"The authority is not serious in making the payments to farmers and is also delaying the payment of 64 per cent and allotment of 10 per cent developed land as per the high court's order," he alleged.
Later, GNIDA officers invited them for talks and assured them that their payments would be made soon.
They also said that for allotment of developed land, the authority has started acquisition.
