Reacting to Abdullah's statement, that has already invited flak from several quarters, Pal today said, "Farooq Abdullah should apoligise for his remarks on Indian Army and the government should ban such statements."
The National Conference patron and former J&K chief minister had yesterday said, "Ever since I came into politics, I have always said that this state (PoK and J-K) can never become one. Neither do we have the power to take back their part (PoK) nor have they (Pakistan) the power to take our part; we are a nuclear power and they, too, are."
On Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef's indication that the neighbouring country was ready for a dialogue with India without pre-conditions for sustainable peace, the BJP MP said India was already in favour of this suggestion.
Stating that terror was a global problem and was not limited to India alone, Pal said PM Shareef should take initiative to end the "nursery of terrorism" on his soil.
Regarding Bihar elections, the BJP MP said Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad Yadav succeeded in convincing the people that BJP was against reservation, which was not true.
