Over 250 handicraft manufacturers and exporters from across the country will showcase their products including fashion jewellery and accessories during the 3-day exhibition at Greater Noida, starting from July 21.
The main objective of 'Indian Fashion Jewellery and Accessories Show' is to invite foreign buyers to source new and innovative products from India.
The Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) is organising the fair at the India Expo Centre and Mart.
The participants will showcase the wide product range of fashion jewellery and accessories to attract overseas buyers, the textiles ministry said in a statement.
The fair will provide a global platform for the fashion jewellery and accessories sector to make a dent in the USD 16 billion world market and increase India's share in this segment.
Rakesh Kumar, Executive Director - EPCH, said that India's exports of fashion jewellery and accessories in 2015-16 was to the tune of Rs 2,755 crore.
But its share in the world market is still very less, he added.
The top importing nations in the world are USA, Germany, UK, France, Japan, Switzerland, Netherlands, Canada, Belgium, Hong Kong, Spain, Australia, Italy and Latin American.
