Director F Gary Gray will partly film "Fast and Furious 8" in Arkanes, Iceland. The town mayor, Regina Asvaldsdottir, confirmed the report and said that Vin Diesel and the film crew members would arrive in April, reported Aceshowbiz.
As Universal Pictures stated earlier, the studio "is currently in the process seeking approval from the United States and Cuban governments to explore shooting a portion of the next installment of the 'Fast & Furious' series in Cuba."
The majority of filming, however, will take place in New York and Atlanta.
The street-racing movie will be released in North America on April 14, 2017.
