The chief minister directed to ensure delivery of gas cylinders to consumers and make non-subsidised LPG cylinders available for people without any stipulation or pre-condition for obtaining these cylinders, an official spokesman said
"It should be the option of the consumer to obtain either subsidised or non-subsidised LPG cylinders as per his wish," he said.
The chief minister said the government will not tolerate any false scarcity or black marketing of LPG cylinders in the state and asked oil companies to sensitise dealers in this regard.
"Smooth availability of LPG cylinders for consumers should be made benchmark of the functioning of supply system by oil companies," he said.
