Hasib, who was under depression, attacked his nine-year-old daughter Khushnuma and six-year-old Shama Parvin with a sharp-edged weapon in his house in Sujan Sarai village in Tirwa police station area, police said.
The children's mother was at her maternal house when the incident took place.
Hasan, who has been arrested, said that he wanted to commit suicide after killing his daughters.
