The incident occurred in the afternoon when the motorcycle Hardev Singh (62) and his son Harmeet Singh (25) of Badowal village were travelling on was hit by the bus, police said.
The bus was on its way to Bathinda from Ludhiana.
The driver of the bus fled from the scene after the incident, police said, adding that the locals set it on fire.
