The accused, Aamir along with his three friends allegedly stabbed a 22-year-old girl's father this morning, who is undergoing treatment in a hospital, SP city Prabhakar Chaudhary said.
According to police, Aamir and the girl were neighbours and Aamir was stalking the girl for some time now.
The girl's father had even taken up the matter with Aamir's family a few days back and apparently to take revenge, Aamir attacked the girl's father this morning along with his three friends, police said.
No arrests have been made so far, police said, adding, they were trying to nab the four accused.
