Father stabbed for protesting stalking of daughter

Four persons have been booked for allegedly stabbing a girl's father and critically injuring him for protesting the stalking of his daughter in Chakari area here, police said today.
The accused, Aamir along with his three friends allegedly stabbed a 22-year-old girl's father this morning, who is undergoing treatment in a hospital, SP city Prabhakar Chaudhary said.
According to police, Aamir and the girl were neighbours and Aamir was stalking the girl for some time now.
The girl's father had even taken up the matter with Aamir's family a few days back and apparently to take revenge, Aamir attacked the girl's father this morning along with his three friends, police said.

The four accused have been booked under section 307 (attempt to murder), 326 (causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons) and other relevant sections, police informed.
No arrests have been made so far, police said, adding, they were trying to nab the four accused.
