Infrastructure services provider Feedback Infra today said it has bagged a contract from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to prepare a detailed project report (DPR) for the proposed Nagpur-Hyderabad-Bengaluru expressway.
As per the contract, Feedback Infra's Highways IndVe SBU will establish the technical, economic and financial viability of this project and prepare the DPR of the project including the rehabilitation and upgrading of the existing road configuration, if required, the company said in a statement issued here.
The 1,100 km long expressway will pass through four states including Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka and the cost is estimated at Rs 35,000 crore.
"This contract shows that Indian engineering firms are able to go up the scale from designing highways to designing such long and technically complex expressways," Feedback Infra Chairman Vinayak Chatterjee said.
Feedback Infra has been associated with other expressway projects, either in an advisory or in a project management role, with the most recent being the 302 km Agra to Lucknow expressway and the 700 km Nagpur to Mumbai Super Expressway, it said.
