'Titli' is slated for its world premiere in the 'Un Certain Regard' category at the 67th edition of the Cannes Film Festival to be be held from May 14 to May 25.
"I was busy working on the film. Our aim was to finish the film first and make sure it turns out to be good. I really did not have the time to think about the selection. So the feeling of the film going to Cannes has not sunk in yet, but it does feel good and I am happy about it," Behl said at a press conference here.
"It deals with lot of things. Patriarchy happens to be a strong note. We are talking about four men in a house put in front of a new woman. The film is not about me trying to tell you something about patriarchy. It is the story that unfolds through these characters," Behl said.
'Titli' stars Shashank Arora, Ranvir Shorey, Amit Sial, Lalit Behl and Shivani Raghuvanshi.
