The delegation, which left today for Washington DC, will be interacting with key American policy influencers, think tanks, companies and media on climate change issues, the industry body said in a release.
The meetings will focus on sharing the climate change challenges facing India, range of proactive climate mitigation and adaptation measures being taken by the country and the partnerships and collaborations that are needed in order to accelerate progress on the issue, it said.
They will also interact with US-based companies, it added.
The global climate talks are scheduled from November 30 to December 11 in Paris for finalising a new climate pact.
