Justice B Rajendran before whom the petition filed by Dr P Sesu, husband of the deceased, seeking to transfer the probe to CB-CID, came up today, directed the Investigating Officer to file the report within two weeks from today.
Dr Sathya was murdered on August 20 2015. Her roommate K Sangeetha who spotted her body, had filed a complaint with police.
The petitioner submitted that there were many confusing versions in the complaint, starting from the status of his wife not feeling well and going for a blood test.
He submitted that the jewellery was not stolen and the person arrested, a native of Tripura, a doctor residing next to his wife's flat with his brother, had been charged with stealing a cell phone worth a mere Rs 2,000 and this may not be true.

Dr Sesu submitted that the complainant was a medical practitioner and was duty bound to administer first aid to the injured, which has not done in this case.
He alleged that the IO has charged and that the probe was wound up by charging the accused with murder for gain.
Hence he prayed that the court transfer the investigation to CB-CID.
