"We are happy to receive some good response on the film at Cannes. Now, screening the film at the Brahmaputra Valley Film Festival would bring us closer to our regional audience," said Chow Partha Borgohain, who has directed the film.
The film, shot mostly in Arunachal Pradesh, showcases the struggle and life of the main characters during the approaching war and how they were able to trust, and not to trust, each other.
"One of the goals of the company is to promote North East India for film tourism locations and introduce filmmakers to great avenues and serenity of the region," said Mai.
On the release of the movie, Mai said, "At present we are not contemplating on the release dates. As of now our primary focus is to explore more film festival circuits in India and abroad. We are planning to screen the film in various festivals before we move for a commercial release.
