The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) will provide affordable homes to film and television actors and technicians, its chairperson Uday Samant said Friday.
Samant gave this information to a delegation of the Shiv Sena Chitrapat Sena headed by noted Marathi actor Aadesh Bandekar.
Samant said actors and technicians staying in different districts of the state will be provided homes there, while those residing in Mumbai Metropolitan Region will be given homes in Virar.
Bandekar said backstage artistes will benefit due to this decision.
Well-known actors Digambar Naik, Sushant Shelar, Rani Gunaji among others were part of the delegation.
