Gauri, 41, whose debut film "English Vinglish" was widely appreciated, wants to maintain the suspense on the chemistry her lead actors will be sharing in the yet untitled project to be produced by Karan Johar.
"Let's wait and watch. It won't be as typical as one expects... A man and woman to be together," she said when asked the relationship the protagonists will have in the film.
"I think it is good to be intimidated. We should all be intimidated with each other," she said.
The one film old director finds herself fortunate to get the 49-year-old "Happy New Year" star and the "Highway" actress on board for her film.
"I don't know how it happened...I wrote the script and I got lucky (with casting)."
The project is expected to go on floors soon.
