Fire at Burrabazar building, no casualty

Fire broke out on the second floor of a four-storied commercial building here in the Burrabazar area of the city early today morning but there was no causalty, fire services
officials said.
Five engines were used to put out the fire which broke out at a godown-cum-store of home appliances on the second floor of a building on the Canning Street, fire services officer T K Poddar told PTI.
"There was no casualty in the fire which broke out at around 7.25am. We are suspecting short circuit responsible for the mishap," Poddar added.
