Fire at film complex in West Midnapore district, no casualty

A fire broke out at a privately owned film complex at Chandrakona Road in West Midnapore district on Thursday evening, Fire Brigade officials said.

There was no report of any casualty in the blaze which partially gutted a gate and portions of a film set, the officials said.

A fire tender put off the flames which broke out in part of a same set at around 8 pm, they said.

The film complex is located between Salboni Forest and Chandrakona, about 165-km from the city.
