Fire at metal powder godown in Kolkata

A fire today broke out at a metal powder godown at Taratala in the south-western part of the city, a fire brigade official said.

The fire broke at about 9.50 AM, he said.

Ten fire tenders have been pressed into service to douse the flame, which is yet to be brought under control.

There is no report of injury to anyone so far, the official said.
