Fire at shanty, 1 seriously injured

One person suffered serious burn injuries in a fire which broke out at a shanty in Narkeldanga area of the city tonight.
Fire brigade sources said Bablu Dey (42) of Sitalatala Lane was taken to N R S Hospital in serious condition.
Two fire tenders fought the flames which broke out at around 7:30 pm for an hour.
