A major fire broke out on the 12th floor of a high-rise residential building in South Mumbai this evening but there no immediate reports of casualties, a Fire Brigade official said.
The blaze started in the 26-storeyed Mount Plant building in Kemps Corner area of the posh locality, he said.
The official termed it as a major fire whose cause could not be ascertained yet.
Fourteen fire engines, seven water tankers and four ambulances have been rushed to the spot.
