No casualty has been reported from the mishap site so far, Fire Officer Ajay Singh Rajput said.
Around 20-25 fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames which have been brought under control, he said, adding efforts were on to ascertain the damage in the factory.
Rajput did not say what caused the fire, but according to local industrialist Ullhas Vaidya, who is President of Laghu Udyog Bharti, a short-circuit may have caused it.
Laghu Udyog Bharti is a representative of small scale industries.
