Fire due to electrical short circuit in Howrah Station

Electrical work was on at the Food Plaza in the old complex of the station when sparks were noticed, the sources said.

Fire tenders rushed to the spot and controlled the fire within 30 minutes.

There was no damage to property or loss of life, the sources said.
