Fire in garment showroom, goods worth crores gutted

Goods worth crores of rupees were destroyed when a fire broke out in a garment showroom in Rajghat area here this morning, police said.
The blaze, which erupted probably due to electric short circuit, soon spread to an adjacent godown, they said.
Goods worth crores of rupees were gutted, police said adding fire tenders were pressed into service to extinguish the blaze.
