Fire in Mumbai building; none hurt

Fire broke out today in the basement of an eleven-storeyed building in upmarket Cuffe Parade in South Mumbai here but no casualties were reported.
The blaze occurred around 4 PM in the building, which houses a hospital, a BMC Disaster Cell official said.
Eight fire engines, four water tankers and two ambulances have been rushed to the spot, he said.
However, no casualties have been reported so far, the official said.
The cause of the fire is not known yet and further details are awaited.
