Firefighters took three hours to extinguish the blaze which erupted in the factory, located in sector 63, in the afternoon, police said.
Eleven motor-cycles and a scooter parked in the factory premises were also gutted.
Around 400 workers were working on four floors of the factory when the fire broke out.
The factory had five generators of which one was damaged in the fire, police said adding some workers received burn injuries.
"Diesel drums stored for generators caught fire and exploded," said Fire Station Officer Somdut Sonkar.
