"The bus was stopped immediately and all 49 passengers safely alighted from the vehicle," Station Superintendent, Roadways bus stand Mathura, Santosh Kumar, said.
The matter is being probed and the cause of fire would be ascertained soon, he said.
Timely action by driver Jaihind and conductor Vijay prevented the passengers from suffering burn injuries in the injuries, the roadways official said.
The passengers were taken to Firozabad in another bus, he said.
