Firm conditions prevail at pulses market

Firm conditions prevailed at the wholesale pulses market today as select pulses firmed up on increased demand from retailers against tight supplies from producing belts.

In the national capital, urad and its dal chilka local moved up by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,950-7,050 and Rs 7,400-7,600 per quintal. Its dal best quality and dhoya edged up by the same margin to Rs 7600-8200 and Rs 8.000-8,400 per quintal.
Moong and its dal chilka local gained Rs 100 each to Rs 7,100-8,100 and Rs 8,000-8,500 per quintal. Its dal dhoya local and best quality enquired higher by a similar margin to Rs 8,000-8,300 and Rs 8,800-8,900 per quintal respectively.

Moth followed suit and traded higher by Rs 100 to Rs 5,700-6,000 per quintal.
In line with general firm trend, gram, gramdal local and best quality were up by Rs 100 each to Rs 3,200-4,000, Rs 3,800-4,000 and Rs 3,900-4,200 per quintal respectively.

Besign Shaktihog and Rajdhani quoted higher at Rs 1,450 instead of Rs 1,430 per 35 kg bag respectively.

Masoor small 6,000-6,200, bold 6,000-6,200, Dal Masoor local 6,950-7,050, best quality 7,050-7,150, Malka local 6,900-7,200, best 7,100-7,200, Moth 5,700-6,000, Arhar 5,100- 5,200, Dal Arhar Dara 6,450-6,750.

Gram 3,200-4,000, Gram Dal (local) 3,800-4,000, best quality 3,900-4,200, Besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,450, Rajdhani 1,450, Rajmah Chitra 4,000-6,400, Kabli Gram small 3,500-6,200, dabra 2,700-2,800, imported 4,700-5,100, Lobia 4,800-5,200, Peas white 2,750-2,800 and green 2,850-2,950.
