Marketmen said stockists buying on the back of pick up in demand from retailers amid restricted supplies from producing belts mainly led to rise in select pulses prices.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety moved up by Rs 200 each to Rs 7,500 and Rs 10,700-12,400 per quintal respectively.
Urad and its dal chilka local rose by Rs 100 each to Rs 9,000-11,300 and Rs 9,800-10,000 per quintal respectively. Its dal best quality and dhoya traded higher by a similar margin to Rs 9,900-10,500 and Rs 10,300-10,700 per quintal.
Masoor small and bold hardened by Rs 100 each to Rs 4,900-5,150 and Rs 4,950-5,200 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality traded higher by a similar margin to Rs 5,650-6,150 and Rs 5,750-6,250 per quintal.

Malka local and best quality followed suit and gained Rs 100 each to Rs 5,750-6,250 and Rs 5,850-6,250 per quintal.
In line with overall trend,gram, gramdal local and best quality were up by Rs 100 each to Rs 4,850-5,250, Rs 5,050-5,350 and Rs 5,350-5,550 per quintal respectively. Kabli gram small variety enquired higher by the same margin to Rs 5,350-7,350 per quintal.
