The Super Bowl, though not a movie event, has become a popular spot to land movie trailers, reported Ace Showbiz.
It's Eric Van Lustbader, the author who took over the "Bourne" book series after Robert Ludlum passed away, who broke the news.
He wrote on Facebook, "The first trailer for the new Bourne film will be shown during this year's Superbowl telecast. At that time I believe you'll find out the title of the film. (I know it, but I'm sworn to secrecy). So tune in on February 7th to check out all the excitement. I, for one, can't wait!!!"
Matt Damon returns to reprise the titular character and Paul Greengrass is back to direct. "Bourne 5" is due to arrive in North America on July 29.
Other movies taking part in the sports event telecast are "The Jungle Book", "Captain America: Civil War", "Zootopia", "Alice Through the Looking Glass", "Finding Dory", "Rogue One", "X-Men: Apocalypse", "Independence Day: Resurgence" and "Deadpool".
