The new Chinese film, 'My Amazing Trip to India', which graphically portrays the travails faced by a Chinese traveller in India, is set to be released all over China in the next few months, Zhang Jian Ya, the director of the film, told the media on the sidelines of the Indian film festival here last night.
Most of the shooting of the film, involving four Indian actors including heroine Ridhima, was done in Rajasthan.
Zhang Jian Ya along with young Chinese director Fan Lixin were designated as promotional ambassadors to the Indian film festival in which India showcased 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag'. Other movies are 'Jodha Akbar', 'Taare Zameen Par', 'Dil Chahta Hai', 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara', 'Oh My God', 'Queen' and Malayalam film 'Majadikuru'.
The films would be shown in five different Chinese cities in the coming months.
Zhang Jiajun said he was fascinated by Indian movies since childhood, specially 'Awara' and wants to make films in India.
