Firstsource Q4 net profit rises 6% to Rs 62 crore

BPO firm Firstsource Solutions today reported 5.89 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 62.31 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2015.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 58.84 crore in the same period a year ago.
The consolidated revenue of the company, however, declined by 5.3 per cent in the fourth quarter to Rs 754 crore from Rs 796.2 crore in the same period of previous fiscal, Firstsource Solutions said in a statement.
For year ended March 2015, the company posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 234.31 crore, up 21.43 per cent, as compared to Rs 192.96 crore for the year ended March 2014.
The company's revenue declined by 2.3 per cent in 2014-15 at Rs 3,034.65 crore, as against Rs 3,105.87 crore in 2013-14 fiscal.
"In FY15 our focus was on consolidating the bottomline which we have been able to successfully achieve. Going forward the focus will be on profitable growth," RP Sanjiv Goenka Group and Firstsource chairman Sanjiv Goenka said.
During the 2014-15 fiscal, Firstsource Group USA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Firstsource Solutions, made four equal quarterly installments of USD 11.25 million each totalling USD 45 million towards repayment of outstanding long term debt, the company said.
