Fisher folk fourm meet in Delhi next month

A three-day Executive Committee meeting of the National Fisher Folk Forum (NFF) will be held in New Delhi from March 19 to discuss various issues relating to fishermen across the country.
NFF Chairman M Ilango, who will preside over the deliberations, said in a release here today that delegates of fishermen associations of various states will participate in the meeting.
At the end of the meeting a joint delegation of fishermen would meet Union Agriculture Minister and others and take up issues of the fisher folk, he added.
