The case was decided in a matter of two weeks as the woman, who had earlier alleged that she had been gangraped, had turned hostile.

The judgement was given by Special Session Judge S K Turkar.

The case was filed in the court on October 6. Charge sheet had been filed and statements of the accused persons as well as the victim had been recorded. Arguments had also taken place in the court in this case.

During a public hearing on August 21, the woman had complained to police that she was raped by police station in-charge Sandeep Ayachi and later by Arun Jain, Guddu Kori and Amjad, with the help of one Parvati Bai, following which a case was registered against all of them.

The woman, however, turned hostile in the court, following which the judge acquitted all five of them.
