The five-day event would see participation of teams from the UK, Australia, Germany, Brazil, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Bahrain, Mauritius, Bangladesh, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, besides India, a release from INA said here.
The Regatta is being organised by the Indian Sailing Association and conducted by the Marrakar Watermanship Training Centre, Indian Naval Academy.
The races are on Laser (Radial) Class Sailing Boats and the participating teams have to sail their boats over specified distance within the Ettikulam bay, in accordance with internationally established sailing rules, the release said.
