Five die as car collides with bus in Jalandhar

Five people lost their lives and two were injured when a car collided with a bus near Adampur in Jalandhar district today, the police said.
The incident took place when the SUV was going to Jalandhar and the bus, belonging to a private university, was going to Hoshiarpur, DSP (Rural), Jalandhar Gurwinder Singh said.
"Five people, who were the occupants of the SUV, died while two others, including the bus driver, were injured in the incident," he said, adding the deceased were residents of Jalandhar.
