All the five, who were travelling in the loader, were killed, they said adding the accident happened on Tindwari road in Kotwali Dehat area late last night.
Those killed were identified as Jagmohan, aged 50, Saleem (40), Ramswarup (55), Bhola Prasad (50) and Khaleel (40), they said.
The injured was admitted to a hospital, police said.
