Five docs suspended in UP

Uttar Pradesh Health Minister Ahmad Hasan today suspended five government doctors posted in Gorakhpur and Basti divisions on charges of dereliction of duty.
After flagging off 102 amubulance service meant for carrying pregnant women to hospitals, Hasan held a review meeting where he received complaints regarding some doctors not performing their duties.
Taking note of it, the Minister suspended five doctors -- two posted in Gorakhpur and three in Basti.
He announced this while talking to reporters here.
On deadly encephalitis, Hasan said the state government had taken several steps to contain the disease.
