Olympic medallist Gagan Narang's Gun For Glory academies will see five of their shooters representing India in the ISSF Junior World, starting Friday in Suhl, Germany.
The talented youngsters who have tuned themselves up for the event after rigorous training at their respective GFG academies include one in the junior men's category - Pruthiviraj Avachi in the 50m rifle prone junior men - while Elavenil Valarivan and Shreya Agrawal will compete in the 10m rifle individual and team event.
Jabalpur's Mahima Agrawal will look to make her mark in the 10m pistol junior women category (individual). The GFG shooter in the 50m pistol category is Anushka Patil, who will be making her debut.
Elavenil, who had set an unprecedented score of 631.4 to etch her name in the history books, will look to carry forward her red-hot form from the currently ongoing KSS Memorial Championship and prove her mettle when she features in Germany for the second time at the ISSF Junior World Cup.
The girl from Gujarat said, "I am not feeling any pressure and I'm looking forward to the Junior World Cup and hopefully I can clinch more medals for my country.
