Five held for robbing jeweller's house in Bareilly

Police have arrested five persons allegedly involved in the robbery at a jeweller's house in Bareilly and recovered from their possession Rs 12 lakh in cash along with jewellery and fire arms.
The house of Rampal Gupta, a jeweller in Meerganj area of Bareilly, was robbed on November 17, police said here.
The five accused, Arshad, Yasin Sheikh, Intezaar Qureishi, Aman Saxena and Raju alias Shahjad were arrested from Nagaria tri-section in Bareilly today following an encounter, they said.
Rs 12 lakh in cash, gold and silver jewellery and illegal fire arms have been recovered from the accused, police said.
