Five houses damaged in cylinder explosion, no casualty

Five houses were destroyed in an LPG cylinder blast at Srirampuram near Kannivadi in the district today, police said.
The cylender exploed in one of the houses. However, no casualty was reported as it exploded as the inmates had gone out at the time of the incident.
The cause for the explosion was yet to be ascertained, police said.
